Description

A feeder that looks as good as it works.

Our Bird Feeder isn’t your average feeder. It’s made from the same Corten steel as our silhouettes, so it weathers beautifully with time, turning into a rust-toned feature that blends naturally into your garden. Designed to attract birds while looking striking, it’s as much an art piece as it is a feeding station. Fill it with seed, crumbs, or nuts, and you’ll soon have a steady stream of feathered guests.

This feeder is perfect for anyone who loves birdwatching. Whether you’re setting it up in your yard, gifting it to a nature-loving friend, or installing it outside a kitchen window for daily entertainment, it’s designed to deliver delight.

How to install your Bird Feeder

    1. Assemble the perch – slide the detachable perch into the feeder base.
    2. Choose a safe spot – near foliage is best, giving birds cover as they feed.
    3. Hold horizontally – position the branch against your chosen post or tree.
    4. Hammer firmly – tap until the feeder is secure.
    5. Fill with seed – add food to welcome birds into your garden.

Top Tip: Place your feeder near a window—so you can enjoy close-up birdwatching without disturbing your visitors.

    What food works best?
Sunflower seeds, peanuts, and millet are favourites. Avoid salted or heavily processed food.

    Will it survive winter?
Yes. Corten steel is made for the outdoors and will only look better over time.

How do I keep it clean?
Empty old food regularly and wipe the steel with a damp cloth as needed.

    Is it safe for birds?
Definitely. It’s sturdy, with smooth edges and a solid perch.

Each Metalbird is crafted from Corten® Steel, a premium, weathering steel made to last.

When it meets the elements, it doesn’t rust like your old BBQ. It transforms.

That change you’re seeing? That’s patina. A tough, protective outer layer that seals the steel, adds character, and preserves your bird for decades.

This isn’t paint. It’s nature’s way of ageing gracefully.

    The Patina Process:

At first, you’ll notice bright orange spots (we call this the teenage phase). Soon enough, the whole bird will turn a bold orange, slowly shifting into deep burnt umber. Eventually, it settles into a moody charcoal that feels like it’s always belonged.

The Result? A piece of industrial art with a heartbeat. No peeling, no fading, just a bird that gets better with age.

what’s the word on the bird?
