With a bright yellow belly and a neck featuring a fashion-forward necklace of dark stripes, the Canada Warbler is a summertime resident of the east, flitting throughout the dense and shady forests. This warbler isn’t shy (with statement jewellery like that, we can’t say we’re surprised) and even in the undergrowth, it’s not difficult to spot the cheerful yellow songbird, with its loud chirping song. Most will agree that it’s the eyes of the warbler that grab your attention, ringed with white and with surrounding markings that vaguely resemble a pair of spectacles. That’s right, this might be the most well accessorised bird in Canada, so designing our own was a no-brainer. The best part is that we created this gorgeous Metalbird with none other than Birds Canada, the non-profit bird conservation organisation with thousands of caring members and a passion for protecting birdlife. To top it off, 30% of all warbler proceeds go directly to supporting Birds Canada, making this one of our most meaningful creations ever.

Our Warbler is:
Our birds are designed with 1/8-inch CorTen steel to form a protective patina that deepens and strengthens with the seasons. This patina will deepen in shade over the years until it reaches a deep brown/charcoal black hue.
This self-sealing aspect of CorTen steel provides a quality guarantee of up to 100 years, ensuring that our product lasts a lifetime and remains completely corrosion resistent.
What might initially resemble generic rust is simply the air and water-tight patina forming over a six month period, so don’t panic! Your Metalbird is doing exactly what it’s been designed to do, and this patina will protect the steel from any further damage and disintegration.
CorTen steel does not require any treatments, oils or chemical additives and is therefore extremely environmentally friendly.
